Emma posted a few of her favourite pieces from the most recent delivery last week, and now it’s my turn. I’ve been drawn to a more colourful palette recently, whether that means muted pastel hues or bright infusions, and I have my eye on anything with feminine details. Hence the blush blazer, bow belt and girly lace shift dress.

Nautical inspired striped halter dress. Light and airy, accessories optional.

Probably my favourite piece from the current collection: the blush blazer. Ruched sleeves and a fitted silhouette. So perfect with denim, your favourite tee and a sparkly necklace

Lace shift dress. Simple and gorgeous.

Breezy turquoise swing top and crochet covered purse. Summer essentials.

Turqoise bow belt. Probably one of the cutest ways to cinch your waist.
With all of the new merchandise in the store, we decided to create our own shopping wishlists. I am loving neutral pieces right now..maybe because our Toronto weather has been so dreary lately. But I love how all of these neutral items can be accessorized with a pop of colour to add a summery twist.
Below you’ll find all of my new favourite things, and be sure to check back within the next few days to see what’s on Paige’s wishlist!

We have been very busy at Bicyclette HQ unpacking all of the new merchandise and displaying it throughout the shop. Here is a sneak peek of some of our new items and display features.
Check back tomorrow for specific outfit ideas to inspire your spring/summer wardrobe. Enjoy!

And last but not least, the final instalment of the photos from the April lookbook shoot, complete with glitter castle and glitter Bicyclette wordmark!
A few other things we’re working on this week include: an online shop update, implementing a weekly newsletter (more on that later!), putting out new product in the shop … just to name a few. Lot’s happening at the Bicyclette HQ!

So this past weekend was a little bit insane at the shop (in the best possible way), resulting in a lack of posting and general online activity. It happens, and I’m finally back with the third instalment from the April lookbook shoot.
These photos don’t need too much of an introduction, but I just have to say that baby pink rotary phones were made to be in photo shoots, I think we can all agree on that.

I think this might be my favourite grouping from the shoot, using the fox mask and the letters and various other props from the store. The girls are wearing two of my favourite printed dresses, styled with faded light denim and the always essential tangled jewellery. Pretty sure this is going to my summer wardrobe, right there!

So the images from last weeks April lookbook shoot are in, and I’m oh-so-excited to share them with you. We’ll be posting them in instalments over the next few days again so we can stagger the amazingness a little bit.
This shoot was a little different in that we decided to shoot in the shop, which seemed fitting given the timing, and we had two models instead of one. We wanted something that felt a little more candid, and was focused on creating a fun atmosphere, using the various props around the store and interacting with the displays.
Enjoy!

Just thought I’d share this little bit of press that one of our favourite MinkPink dresses received in LouLou Magazine. The Gretel Lace Up dress, with its vintage-inspired lace detailing and rosy blush hue, is an ideal piece for spring.
