Not to mention the fact that there are a number of previews of the new jewellery line, their collaboration with Jeffrey Campbell, and the expanded White Label collection that is launching for Spring ’12. Talk about eye candy.

We’ve definitely drawn inspiration from the space, and with the white and pastel palette, feminine feel, vintage details and touch of whimsy, it’s very in line with Bicyclette. And can we please talk about those swings? Currently brainstorming ways to incorporate that idea into the shop. Love the merchandising possibilities they would present!

With a newly exposed brick wall, many coats of paint and a few other visual updates, we’re officially ready for the seasonal change . Not to mention the new Fall merchandise that’s arriving daily…

Allowing us to peek into the closets of our style icons and get a glimpse at what is usually kept behind closed doors, it not only displays beautiful images of covetable items, but it also provides a personal story for each piece featured, and is wonderfully curated.

Personally, I love how each and every photo is expertly styled, and blurs the line between home, gallery and retail space. It’s one of the things that is very important to me at Bicyclette, creating a unique shopping environment and merging various aspects of merchandising, display and decor. This is eye candy at it’s finest.

I could probably do a blog post outlining my favourite photos from each and every closet they explore, but the last two featuring Meritt Elliot and Emily Current spoke to me especially, with their feminine influences, vintage inspiration and attention to details.

Bicyclette’s rolling racks are all custom and self built, we’ve revamped dressers, painted fruit crates, glittered hangers, you name it. I love the fact that the pieces are custom and one-of-a-kind, and can constantly be reworked to fit a new space or theme.

Shelving is a tricky thing. Most shelving units are fairly bleak and boring, and in retail spaces, I find them to be extremely flat looking. So when I came across the two upcycled shelving units below, I had a bit of a eureka moment. How perfect would these be for Bicyclette? So many possibilities!

It’s on my list of store must-haves, but I have yet to figure out what I want it to say. ‘Bicyclette’ is too obvious, so I’m thinking something more along the lines of ‘Fairy Tale’. Currently taking suggestions…

And just as street style photographers have been asked to shoot fashion campaigns, Todd Selby has shot the Holiday campaign for ASOS, granting us access into the wonderfully stylish apartments of the models. I’m loving the not-too-styled spaces and the interior inspiration, though I find the clothes kind of get lost and it becomes more about the space and the image as a whole.

Either way, a clever campaign, and definitely pleasing to the eye.
