Introducing all of our new favourite bracelets by Lauren Elan! The arm party has easily become one of our biggest obsessions at Bicyclette and we couldn’t be happier with all the new additions we have to choose from below. There is a mix of chunky metals, bright colours and sparkly gems to add a pop to any party.

It’s no secret that we love our arm and neck candy at Bicyclette, and thanks to Lauren Elan Collections, we’re able to fulfill our sparkly desires on a regular basis.

“Lauren Elan celebrates a love for fashionable living, whether it is with a statement necklace, a multicolour cuff, or a fine cord bracelet. An appreciation for designer brands, creative styling, reasonable pricing, and well-made products has inspired the collection of necklaces and bracelets that are made up of eclectic looks and quality materials”

With the new Fall collection recently launched and a newly redesigned site to accompany it, it seemed like the perfect time to tease ourselves with a few new favourites. We’re currently gravitating towards mixed metals that have a cross between the masculine and feminine, a hint of sparkle (no surprise there), and offer the option to be layered with as many or as few pieces as you choose.

Up tomorrow? Our favourite wrist embellishments.

We just received a few new styles from Wildfox at the shop, and I figured what better opportunity than to share a few of my favourite images from the Fall lookbook featuring the pieces we currently have at the shop?

Enjoy!

And we’re happy to present to you the second half of the lookbook images, which feature more images and a number of accessories from the new collections of Biko and Lauren Elan Collections (which we just received at the shop and will soon be receiving more of…). You know we love our statement jewellery and arm parties, and these are no exception.

Every time we shoot a new lookbook I’m convinced that it’s my favourite one yet, but the next month comes, and we somehow outdo ourselves. That being said, we’re really happy to launch the latest series, and there’s something about the eerie, windblown quality of them that feels refreshing and perfectly Fall, which is fitting. If you remember the sneak peek I posted a couple weeks ago, then you know that we nicknamed this shoot  “Harvest Princess Come Undone”, and took to the faraway land known as Guelph to shoot these beauties, braving the elements along the way.

You can view the lookbook on the website here, or take a look at all the photos from the shoot here, the remainder of which will also be blogged tomorrow.

“Sweater weather”… two of my favourite words to hear paired together. The opportunity to cozy up with chunky knits, layer different textures, and play with colour and pattern in a completely new way. Not to mention the many possibilities for mixing and matching, and how sweaters seem to work equally well with slouchy worn-in denim, your favourite delicate slip dress, or paired with a vintage tee. Between that and the fact that this shoot has a decidedly surf culture vibe and the arm candy is right up our alley, I fell in love with the aesthetic of these photos instantly.

We shot our October lookbook this past weekend, which we casually nicknamed “Harvest Princess Come Undone”, as a nod to the rich warm hues and textures, and the somewhat eerie weather we battled as we traipsed across fields and discovered hidden gems in the countryside.

Coming soon!

I know it seems a little bit late to be posting a Fall trend report (and many of us have already started compiling our Spring ’12 lists), but with the weather finally feeling consistently like fall and the store completely stocked with new merchandise for the season, it  just feels right. We put together a few of our favourite trends that we’re seeing a lot of in the store and on the streets, which is really just scratching the surface.

With it being the last day of September, we figured we better launch this month’s lookbook before it’s too late, so we’re splitting the images between today and tomorrow, and we’ve also posted a behind the scenes teaser video as well, which is a first for us.

Full of layered textures, chunky knits and dashes of hot pink, allow me to introduce you to our September lookbook!
