And the final instalment of the February lookbook. I hope you’ve enjoyed the photos and they’ve provided a little bit of spring inspiration to help you get through this last stretch of winter. With Valentine’s day a few days away and new pieces arriving weekly, our minds are on pale pinks and breezy styles that are ideal for transitioning. This blush-hued dress from MinkPink draws inspiration from the 90s in the shape and detailing and we can picture it perfectly on Kelly Taylor.

If you want to take a look at the entire lookbook, it appears here. Happy Saturday.

Here it is, the second last day of the lookbook instalments. Rosy hues, floral prints and big hearts.

The third instalment of the February lookbook, for your viewing pleasure. We’re loving layered petticoat-style skirts and of course the perfect-for-Valentine’s-Day Wildfox Care Bear Tee. And thank you again to Little Retreats for the cutout lips, which made for a lovely bouquet.

As promised, the second instalment of the February lookbook, featuring one of our favourite new lace dresses and a new piece from Little Fille. J’adore.

The February lookbook is here and I can’t stop gazing at the images, they’re all so pretty and exactly the inspiration I need as we tackle the rest of the winter season. Balloons, confetti, paper lips and romantic clothes… what’s not to love? And have I mentioned how much the colour pink has grown on me?

I’ll be sharing a few images per day over the next week, so you have something extra special to look forward to daily.

Enjoy!

Our favourite way to spend a Saturday? Playing with confetti and balloons, of course! Bicyclette teamed up with the ever-talented photographer Sian Melton and the lovely Tiffany (who was our very first model on the site) for a February photo shoot that involved all things pink and pretty, and styled up some of the new pieces that will be arriving in the shop in the next few weeks. Needless to say, we have a newfound appreciation for the colour pink.

Full lookbook to come!

PS.

On a side note, the new product (that I promised would be in the shop yesterday) will in fact be launched tomorrow. Due to technical difficulties and general craziness, the process was a little delayed, my apologies. But I promise the wait will be worth it!

For tonight’s collection of prettiness, I’ve chosen balloons as my theme. Ever since my promotional bicyclette photo shoot, I’ve been drawn to them as a styling tool and visual device. There’s something so whimsical and magical about them, and their temporary existence adds an element of mystery. Here are some of my favourite images…

This makes me want to do another photo shoot… play around with balloons a bit more, maybe go for something a little more girly and dreamy. I was actually thinking that I may do another series of photos (or two), capturing different sides of bicyclette, maybe by focusing on different seasons or whatnot. So the next one could be something a little more light and delicate, playing with softer light and colours. Hmmm… another project to focus on in all my free time?
