Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper Vintage is our newest favourite blog crush and style inspiration. Hailing from the beautiful Australia, she is perfect to watch as we enter the warm summer ahead, as she has has an effortlessly beautiful summertime aesthetic. She mixes standout vintage pieces with the rest of her incredible wardrobe making each outfit a bold statement. Her blog, online vintage store and photography is so beautiful to look at with their pops of colours, glimpses into Australian nature, and whimsy dreamworld aesthetic.
We have all been lusting over Natalie Bergman from Wild Belle for the past few weeks and you will often hear their debut album “Isles” on repeat at the shop. The brother and sister duo from Chicago are both charming, talented and perfectly styled with their vintage flare and bohemian edge. Their videos, photographs, fashion and most importantly music, transport us to another universe where soulful voices, soft lighting and quirky combinations rule all. We love the way Natalie takes stand out pieces and combines them into wearable outfits that represent her unique personality perfectly.
I am reading Grace Coddingtons memoir so thought it would be fitting to have her featured as this weeks Monday Muse. She’s an icon in the fashion world for her original beauty, fiery red hair and fearless styling choices. We love how bold she continues to be and how ‘gracefully’ she’s aged in front of the worlds eyes.
After browsing through endless outfit posts from Coachella, we’ve been inspired by this effortlessly “cool” and laid-back American model/designer/stylist who embodies bohemian festival attire all year round. Erin Wasson describes her style as “a woman channeling Johnny Cash mixed in with a little Rod Stewart pre-disco days and a little sweetheart of the rodeo hanging out at the beach” which makes us love her even more. Whether she’s on the red carpet or hanging out in her hometown of Texas, Erin always manages to exude a bohemian free spirit, making her this week’s Monday Muse.

This week we are musing over Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and her effortlessly feminine style. She uses key staple pieces and combines them with trendy statement pieces to keep a fresh look, without ever trying too hard. We love her printed pants, bold colour combinations, and simple jeans and t-shirt look!
After last week’s trip to LA and a little flirtation with sunshine and warmer weather recently, we can’t help but fill our style inspiration boards with bright colours and prints. Whether we embrace it in our own closets or not, we’re always drawn to those who aren’t afraid to take fashion risks and flaunt a bold sense of personal style. After all, we believe that fashion should be fun! Macademian Girl’s style definitely does just that, and while her outfits are loud and quirky, there are certain elements that you can draw inspiration from no matter what your style. She has an especially keen eye for mixing print (a skill we are always impressed by), and her tendency to accessorize with fun sunnies and head pieces is making us even more excited for summer.

No matter what the season we love seeing fashionable ladies rocking hats. Whether it’s a bright toque, a wide brim, a ball cap or a floppy hat, it’s the perfect accessory to any outfit. These girls below sure do know how to rock them well and for that they are this weeks Monday Muse.
We find a lot of our inspiration comes from Australia, with many style muses hailing from the land down under, as well as a growing list of fashion bloggers we follow and designers we carry. How Two Live is a blog we recently came across, drawing us in first withe the clever name and then keeping us scrolling with the bright colours, quirky prints and unapologetically bold style choices. The format is a little bit different, showcasing the style of two sisters, Stef and Jess, and often featuring them in coordinating outfits. A little on the wild side at times, these sisters know how to print mix with the best of them, and aren’t afraid to have fun with their style choices. And really, isn’t that what it’s all about?

It’s not often we’re able to draw style inspiration from a 13-year old, but Kiernan Shipka (of Mad Men fame) has proved to be an exception to that rule with her simple, feminine style. She manages to dress for her age while still offering inspiration to those of us who have a few years on her, flaunting classic dress silhouettes in retro prints and pretty pastel shades.
With a style that is the perfect mix of basics, quirky statement pieces and feminine accessories, we’re finding ourselves drawn to the style of Paris’ Le Blog de Betty this week.
