BICYCLETTE BOUTIQUE + OSHEAGA 2013: FESTIVAL STYLE // TAKE TWO
We hope everyone enjoyed our first Osheaga 2013 Festival Style video that we released earlier this week, and we’re happy to be able to share the second instalment. We’ve enjoyed working on these videos (and watching them – again and again), allowing us to relive the amazing music and fashion inspiration that we were able to experience throughout the weekend. The summer is all about creating memories, and what better way to preserve them than this, especially since we’re able to share it with our community.
In this video we talked to girls rocking hats, which both Paige and Ana also styled throughout the weekend, saw a number of little white dresses that successfully accomplished the “boho chic” vibe that is so festival-worthy, and spotted the Free People Voile and Lace Trapeze Slip, which we recently received in the shop and has become a fast favourite. When we were styling our own outfits and putting together outfit inspiration for the festival, we found that there were definitely certain lines that we were drawn to, and For Love & Lemons and Free People were definitely go-to’s. We really loved how she paired the feminine, breezy slip with a darker kimono and tangle of layered necklaces, providing perfect style inspiration for the transitional season to come, as seen in our ‘Summer’s End’ post earlier this week, and also with a nod to the 90s trend that we are seeing pop up.
We also talked about beauty trends, loving Taylor’s milkmaid braid as the perfect way to showcase her bohemian style while maintaining a certain ease that is essential at a music festival. And the heart-shaped sunnies? The perfect touch. Bonnie’s sheer dress and her shout out to Jessa from ‘Girls’ was the perfect reference, and we can’t think of many other TV personalities who would serve as better festival style muses.
